LOM-2030 System includes:
Capability of manufacturing components with maximum size of 32” L
x 22” W x 20” H
· 50 Watt CO2 Laser with laser power meter
· Laser Chiller
· 486-33 MHz computer w/ 16 Mb RAM, 200 Mb hard disk, VGA Graphics
and 3 ½” and 5 ¼ “ floppy disk drives
· LOM Slice Software license for operating the LOM machine and
preparing STL files · Windows NT operating system
The machine was purchased new from Helisys, Inc. and was placed
into service in October 1994.
1. Date of Installation : 12-1-94
2. Upgrades to System – Software upgrades under service contract
through May “97.
3. 486-33 MHz computer w/ 16 Mb RAM, 200 Mb hard disk, VGA
Graphics and 3 ½” and 5 ¼ “ floppy disk drives
4. Windows NT operating system & LOM Slice
5. Not under service contract at this time. The machine was under
service contract from date of purchase through May 31, 1997.
Machine has not been run since May 1997.
6. I do not have hours of usage; however, the hours are very low.
We ran only a very few projects on this machine. If this is not
adequate information I’ll try to find more records.
7. Very low - Laser has never been replaced
8. Operating condition of system – good to excellent
9. Cosmetic condition of system -- good to excellent
10. Material being used with system – LPH 042280 High Performance
LOM Paper .0042 thick x 28” wide. We have six (6) unused rolls of
paper dated October ’95 that can go with machine.
