We are interested
in exchanging links with select
companies and organizations which
have websites that promote
products and services
complementary to those of Industry
Surplus. We are especially looking
for organizations, manufacturing
companies and distributors of
manufactured products in the
plastics industry since that is
our specialty. But any
manufacturer, distributor of
industrial products or industry
organization, regardless of
category is encouraged to apply.
Link exchanges
can build traffic for both parties
and have the potential to turn a
partner sites visitors into
customers. Additionally sites
which are linked to by other sites
are considered superior to those
which are not when it comes to
search engine ranking.
These are the
criteria for our link exchange
partners:
- Your site's
content must promote products
and services that have value. We
feel that a link to your website
is in fact a recommendation. We
will only link to sites that we
feel confident recommending to
our valued customers and
clients.
- Your site
must not use pop-ups or pop-unders
except those expressly used for
the marketing of your core
products. Pop-ups urging
visitors to sign up for your
e-mail newsletter or promoting a
new product are fine. Pop-ups
promoting cell phones, credit
cards, vacations and the like
are not.
- The link to
Industry Surplus must be easily
available to your visitors, not
hidden away. Our link to your
website will be on the easily
accessible links page.
- We will not
link to sites which contain
profanity, violence, hate
speech, intolerance, pornography
or gambling and casino related
content. Nor will we link to
sites which link to other sites
containing this sort of content.
